• Performs hair style consultation in order to decide what services the client needs.
• Provides services to clients such as shampooing, cutting, styling, coloring and highlighting as desired.
• Must be able to work with a variety of hair lengths, types, and textures.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience with treatments like Keratin, Smoothing, Straightening, Rebonding.
• Analyzes hair and scalp problems and recommends appropriate treatments.
• Assists clients in the selection of Retail products.
• Maintains supplies by checking stock, anticipating needs, placing orders, & verifying receipt.
• Manages bookings, accepts payments, and welcome clients into the store.
• Develops new customers & builds a personal relationship with clients to ensure return visits.
• Maintains cleanliness of salon and their station.
• Keeps updated on hairstyle trends and styling methods.

• Proven work experience as a Beautician, Cosmetologist or similar position.
• Hands-on experience with makeup and hair removal techniques like Waxing.
• Experience with skin & nail care therapies, like Facial, Cleanup, Exfoliation, Body Polishing, Manicure, and Pedicure.
• Provide guidelines to clients on how to take care of their skin.
• Book appointments over the phone and serve walk-ins based on availability.
• Maintain updated client records (e.g. contact details and treatments).
• Cross-sell therapies and beauty products, when relevant.
• Make sure our working area is clean and equipment is sterilized.
• Keep track of levels of stock (e.g lotions and nail polishes)
• Knowledge of beauty products and trends.
